GoCoEdit - Code & Text Editor App Reviews

Ok its not "user friendly" but I know my way around ftp servers and code editors. So its really sick since I can kinda figure stuff out. I dont mind it not showing me what to do, I kinda prefer it like that,

A surprisingly large amount of functionality, with indentations, being able to set tab sizes and stuff, without feeling cluttered. The SSHing is also dope. Im using this with a bluetooth keyboard and would actually prefer this app to vim or emacs.

I have an iphone 6 plus, at first the app seems amazing, good integration with dropbox, ftp, very good, but when you star typing, bh the 8th character, the scren turns black and youre gone, no more control of the app, you just need to kill it and open it again in order tomhave some response. Dont know what it is, but it simply dont work for me.

I have been using a few (web-dev) text editors around the app store. My problem was always that they (a) had marginal support for HTML5, (b) had no preview browser in the app, or (c) were poorly designed. This app solves all the above mentioned admirably. Bravo to the sir (or Madame) responsible for this app, and I definitely recommend!

The app is promising... I like the look and feel and especially working with multiple docs at a time. Id like to see spell check and correction enabled for certain syntax modes, but otherwise its very nice!

I was looking for an app that would allow me to view and edit my code on Google Drive, and this app exceeded my expectations. Very pleased.

If you want a mobile code editor, THIS is the one. Full one editor with syntax support, line completion and more. So many quick little shortcuts to get things done. 11/10. Good job dude

This is the perfect editor for me… Super fast and very well designed. The shortcuts are great und really useful! The best editor on ios i found.

This app is really great and very easy to use. However, the app tends to be quite Laggy when coding in languages other than HTML. This is on an iPad Air.

Import/Download Folder of files. How could that have been glossed over as a feature? Quite tedious to create a folder (and its internal folder structure; project anyone?) locally then import the contents of EACH folder into each respective folder. Whew! .. just typing that was exhausting, imagine running through the actions for EACH project. Live editing is really nice, but sometimes you need the whole project directory as you might be testing/working offline. Besides that, great editor, slick ui, and quite fast. I gave it 3 ⭐️ but I still will use textastic as the loss in efficiency regarding not being able to download full folders is a loss I cant take in a text editor. Ill keep an eye on it in hopes that functionality is implemented because the editor itself is visually pleasing and functions quite well.

Great code editor on the go. Ive been able to use this to edit all my scripts on my remote server. Also i can start ssh shell blazing fast. Dropbox live editing works great. An awesome piece of software! I use it every day on all my ios devices.

Works wonderfully on iPad Pro with split screen. - "Open from" works seamlessly with document providers like Working Copy Git -- edit-in-place means theres no need to duplicate files - Also works with open in and SSH/sftp (although my workflow is all-Git, so I cant comment on that directly) - Syntax highlighting for all sorts of languages - Integration with Dash for offline documentation Very powerful editing, now on iOS.

This is so far the high end App for Web Development or any other based coding, Im a Kid thats learning to code and so far I just needed to find that home base for An app that helps me Program on the go! keep the good work up, cant wait for new Updates and features.

Please add undo/redo function

This has been so helpful for so many random project. CSS updates on the fly made right to my server as well as Arduino sensor testing updates. Love this app. Great job!
